Frank Oran Moyer
TEXAS CITY - Frank Oran Moyer, 80, a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, went to be with his Lord Sunday, March 25, 2007.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Thursday, March 29, at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City with the Rev. John Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster. Visitation will be 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2007, at the funeral home.
Mr. Moyer was a resident of Texas City for 55 years. He was a 40-year member and Past Master of the Texas City Masonic Lodge #1118. He was also a past District Deputy of Masonic District 31 B of the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Texas. He retired from Monsanto after 30 years of service and spent the remainder of his life enjoying family, carpentry, gardening and his love of the Masonic Lodge.
Frank is preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Dorothy Jean Moyer.
Survivors include his two sons, David R. Moyer and Randy L. Moyer and wife Debbie; his two grandsons, Christopher Moyer and Jayson Moyer and wife Leslie; his two granddaughters, Janelle and Robby Grubbs and Melissa and Ricky Peck, all of Texas City. Frank had ten great-grandchildren, Zachary Grubbs, Hayden Grubbs, Madilyn Grubbs, Maximus Peck, Alexandria Peck, Haley Moyer, Cori Moyer, Coral Moyer, and Jaydon Moyer.
He will be sorely missed by his family, friends, and all the people he touched throughout his life.
Pallbearers will be Marion Godeaux, Frank Schurwon, Roger Whitener, Phil Osburn, Jay Campbell, and Robby Grubbs.
